Halloween...

So what did everone get up to for Halloween? Me...I was home cramming studying for my Film exam after working all day..so suckie. But I guess NZers, as a nation, don't celebrate Halloween like the Americans do...would be cool if we did! We still have the increasing numbers of trick or treaters amongst the kids and the odd Halloween party, but nothing too major. That'll be my goal for next year...have a full blown Halloween party. No dressing up as Twilight characters. It's not that there's anything wrong with it if you're that way inclined, but I just think that the characters aren't costumy enough for it that's all.

Enough of my ranting...
Asheley Greene just looks absolutely AMAZING. Kellan too...but maybe lose the cape? then I'd be drooling all over my keyboard.

Rob On The Cover Of OK!

well, I thought I'd start updating my blog with some magazine articles and clippings I've accumulated over the past few or so weeks.

Let's start with the most recent one...
OK! Magazine (Australia) have a New Moon special which features Rob on the cover looking oh so smouldering.
*drool*
I'm absolutely disappointed that they didn't have a page for Jackson?! I find that most mags and what-nots always leave Jackson out - whhhhyy?! Jasper is a Cullen too you know! okay so he's a Hale but same diff!

Oh The Heat In Italy

Ashley Greene was spotted along with Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson in Italy after having lunch recently.

Just Jared Jr reports:

Twilight starlets Ashley Greene and Kristen Stewart lead the pack of guys behind them as they finish up lunch at Pizzeria Trattoria Marechiaro in Padova, Italy on Saturday afternoon (May 24).

Ashley, 22, hung out by the pool after lunch and got a bit sunburned while Kristen, 19, hung out with friends.

All I can say is...it looks a heck of a lot warmer filming in Italy than it did when they were in Vancouver (duh) - must make such a nice change for them...not having to coat up with layers and layers of clothes and all ;)

Kellan and Edi in Australia

Stars of vampire film Twilight to be in Geelong

Kellan Lutz and Edi Gathegi, who both play vampires in the
film, will make an appearance at Geelong's Gifts for the Geek store on Sunday.
The pair are in Australia for a Twilight convention tour.
Gifts for the Geek
is expecting 300 screaming girls at the Ryrie St store.

Shop owners said
they saw a lot of "disappointed girls" who could not get tickets to the
convention and they wanted to do something about it.

"There's a good fan
base in Geelong," organiser Darren Parker said.

Lutz and Gathegi will be
signing autographs from 2.304pm.

The session will allow for a quick meet
and greet.

Afterwards, a screening of the movie will be held at Village
Cinemas in Ryrie St.

Twilight merchandise has been flying off the
shelves at Gifts for the Geek.

"Twilight stuff has been the biggest
seller at our store in 12 years, and the Twilight umbrella has been our biggest
selling item of all time," Mr Parker said.

Interview with Ashley Greene

Australia's Herald Sun has a pretty cool and sweet interview with Ashley Greene. It addresses those rumors about her and Jackson. I love them, they're my favourite Twilight couple - next to Bella and Edward of course! But yeah, it's great to read about Ashley finally addressing that issue. Good luck to you guys!

she had this to say about her new found fame:

"As an actor you want people to know you and there are times you want your pictures taken, but it's unnerving to walk out of a venue with friends and there are 20 people flashing lights in your face. Do you know how bright those lights are?"

and about her and Jackson:

"He and I both don't have time to date, but we do have amazing chemistry," she says.

"We both have such big crushes on each other and it clearly shows. We got along instantly and the day we met, he was teaching me how to swing dance.

"He (Rathbone) does everything. He sings, he dances, and he's so sweet. Even my mum has a crush on him and tells me, 'You should date him'. So, who knows, maybe when we both stop running around the world."

Also I noticed this part:

While speaking with Play, Greene is packing before heading off on a further overseas trip, this time to London before starting filming on the second Twilight film, New Moon.

I noticed it because I read on NewMoonMovie that Rob is also headed over to London before coming back to filming in Italy - cast vacation maybe?

Win Ashley's prom dress

well not her actual prom dress, but the dress she wore at her appearance at Saks Fifth avenue.
Ashley has kindly donated the dress to be auctioned off. Proceeds from DonteMyDress.org goes towards helping girls who can not afford prom dresses themselves. It may seem silly to raise funds for something unnecessary like prom dresses but it's actually a big deal in today's commodity driven society. But seriously though, think of the wonders it an do for one's self esteem. Thumbs up to Ashley for taking part in such a charity!

Twist Magazine caught up with Ashley backstage before her Saks 5th Avenue appearance. Ashley is definitely one of my favourites out of the Twilight cast, who am I kidding...they're all my faourites lol.

New Moon starts filming!

Just ared Jr. has pictures of my favourite Cullen couple! Ashley and Jackson were seen getting coffee in Vancouver. And Jackson let it slip that filming will start sooner than everyone thought :D

"Thursday night, the whole New Moon cast - including Kristen Stewart, Rachelle Lefevre and Robert Pattinson - headed to Gotham Steakhouse for dinner.

As as the cast was leaving, Jackson, 24, revealed to paparazzi that filming for New Moon will be starting earlier than anticipated. He shared, “[Rehearsals] They’re going great, they’re going great. We’re actually going to start filming on Monday, so be sure to check it out.”

Ashley Greene has read the script!!!

lol ok the title is a little OTT. Extra joined Ashley at her 22nd birthday party at Prive and interviewed her.

Greene exclaims, “I’m so excited. I finally, finally got the script….and it’s
good. It’s really good….I’m really excited to work with Chris [Wentz, director].
I finally spoke to him the other day.” She adds, “I like it [script] better than
the first one. I might be biased because I have a bigger part.”
