New Moon Teaser Recap

Dana Ward at Clevver TV does a quick recap on the New Moon Teaser Trailer

I think everyone at this point is commenting on the Jake wolf - I thought he would be a darker brown. And much bigger. Seems like others think so too? who knows - like they said, still time for improvement :)

Wolf Transformation: Behind the Scenes

Check out this new vid from Access Hollywood on Jake's wolf transformation

plus they have a quick chat to Kristen and Taylor

Rob greets fans in Norway

Rob makes a video message for Norwegian Twilight fans from the set of New Moon. Think it was for the Twilight DVD release party? - Anyway, what a horrible video LOL so un-Rob like! he's just reading off cards! and he doesn't even laugh. It's not Rob if he doesn't even laugh. Or smile for that fact!

[thanks NewMoonMovie]

ET Eclusive Clip

wow, just wow. I sat here watching this clip with the biggest, goofiest grin on my face. I don't know why but I seem to be getting like that a lot these days - I think it's the Rob/New Moon fix =P
Anyway, some awesome footage from the ET coverage of the New Moon set - some we've already seen before, some brand new footage. I like it, it's a very coherent vid compared to the others which were snippets of sneak peek previews. This actually seems almost like start to end.

ET New Moon 3
by officialspunkransom

Caius has been cast!

British actor Jamie Campbell-Bower has revealed he will play Volturi leader Caius in The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

The 20-year-old, who has appeared in RockNRolla and Sweeney Todd, told the BBC news website that taking part in the vampire series was "very exciting".

"You're the first people I've told" he said. "Shooting has already started, and I'm going over in June."

The film, due for release in November, is the second adaptation from author Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series.

The role of Caius is key to the plot of New Moon. He forms part of the triumvirate leading the Italian based coven of vampires called the Volturi.

The second book in the series sees the gang become a threat to lovers Bella and Edward.

I may be a newbie at this, but it does seem to me like they've up-played Caius' role above the rest of the Volturi. It's Aro that is more of the leader if ever there was one. The trio (Aro, Caius and Marcus) make up the Volturi leaders, but this report kind of makes it seem like Caius is the head honcho in Italy. I have to disagree. Aro is the most leader-ish one. I wanna know who's been cast as Aro!

Taylor Lautner and the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards

he's so spunky. hehe.
and he definitely knows how to put on a good show!
Taylor accepted the award for Best Book on behalf of Stephenie Meyer.
Lautner said that he is “currently filming New Moon right now, having a lot of fun, and I can tell you first hand you’re going to love it!”

watch the video for yourself :)

Tyson Houseman part of the wolf pack

OK, I have no idea how New Moon Movie has managed to find this out, but man they are genius! They figured out that the guy with the glasses in the wolf pack lunch pics is an unknown actor named Tyson Houseman.

"See the guy in the back over Taylor Lautner’s shoulder in this Punkd photo?
That is none other than Tyson Houseman, and we can exclusively report this after
discovering a post on his talent agency website that confirms it is true. On the website,he is listed with a role in New Moon, and it also includes a headshot that shows he is identical to the person in the photo, making this 100% certain. On the
agency website, it lists his specialties as snowboarding, skateboarding & guitar and his acting experience so far has been solely stage work."

Brilliant work NewMoonMovie.org! I wonder who he's playing, honestly I'm done guessing at this point. Any actor can be turned into almost any character so I really don't know. I'll post when confirmed. That is unles in the meantime I feel like speculating.

Jake's House

the more I see of this, the more likely I think it is...I've made up my mind that this is the Black house and garage :D Seriously why else would there be cones all over the place?!

Edward to sparkle better in New Moon!

I found this news very exciting.
New Moon Movie have posted this:

"NewMoonMovie.org reader Julie met Peter Facinelli at the UK Twilight Convention recently, and she had this interesting tidbit to share–

He talked to us about the script for New Moon and said he was happy with it. He mentioned his concerns at a man directing a story told from a woman’s (Bella’s) viewpoint, but how he was then totally reassured after meeting Chris Weitz the director. My favourite bit of insiders gossip that he gave us was one of the stage directions. In the New Moon script it says ‘the sunlight catches Edward’s skin and we see him sparkle’ ,it then says in brackets underneath (BUT BETTER THAN IN TWILIGHT) I guess they really are trying to improve the special effects!"

Hooray!!! Edward's sparkle in twilight was a tiy shimmer! I expected a total spakle. LIke BLING! lol so I'm really glad they've taken how badly it came off in Twilight into account. Great stuff guys!

Dakota Confirmed!

So it seems Dakota Fanning has finally been officially confirmed! YAY I'm really looking forward to her playing Jane. Like really really looking forward to it hehe. I think she'll be awesome...but I guess only time will tell.

New Moon Movie posts:

Finally some official casting info! Summit has sent out an email revealing that Dakota Fanning will indeed be playing the part of Jane in New Moon. The email states:

Acclaimed actress Dakota Fanning has officially joined the cast, and will play fan favorite Jane in The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

congrats Dakota on landing a part in New Moon :D

Extended Bonus DVD scenes LEAKED!!!

woah. you gotta catch these deleted extra scenes of Twilight - the very ones that will be on the DVDS - while they're hot! and not to mention still available.

It's almost 10 minutes of footage!
awesome.
Even better for those of you who haven't yet pre-ordered. This may help you make the choice between the regular single disc or the 2/3 disc with bonus scenes!

well what are you waiting for?
check it out!

thanks TwiCrack for the heads up!

I like these scenes - Bella's cooking gets a look in! Chocolate candles? did I hear right??
and what's with the poo toy? LMAO!

Solomon not in New Moon

Solomon (gosh I keep wanting to call him Sam :p) posted on his MySpace page:

My agent heard from Summit Entertainment today that I will not be reprising the role of Sam in "New Moon." While I will cherish the experience of being involved in the first film, I am looking forward to many new opportunities in the future and would like to thank everyone for their support.

well this just sucks. I strongly believe that once an actor has been cast to play a role, they should continue to reprise the role! And I'm sure us fans who have seen the movie numerous times all agree that the "the Cullens don't come here" line belongs to Sam, thus belongs to Solomon who said the line in the Twilight movie!!

How sad and how disappointing! He seemed like such a nice guy too, he deserved the role of Sam :( What the hell Summit/Chris?!

We wish you all the best for your future endeavours :)

I wonder who will play Sam now?
