Close Up on the New Moon Film Set

Close Up have an interview segment with the cast of New Moon.
When Close Up presenter Mark Sainbury said "Werewolves - bare-chested beefcakes...." I started PMSL. It's just not something you'd expect him to say....hehe.

I don't think this is Close Up exclusive..it *may* be taken from odd interviews...I really don't know, I haven't been watching much behind the scenes New Moon stuff cause I just think it will ruin the movie if I think about it too much - you know my expectations could possibly set me up for a downfall.

Interviews with Rob, Kristen, Taylor, Dakota and Michael Sheen.

Kristen: "objectively from the outside she (Bella) should be with Jacob. She's best friends with him, he's warm and it's easy, there's no problems there. But you can't always take the easy way."

Taylor: "It just depends on your type...if you believe in love at first sight and seeing that mysterious man on the corner, then alright, join Team Edward."

Rob: "Edward is much more of a worrier. Not a warrior, a worrier (laughs) and Jacob isn't."

Rob just cracks me up with his aloofness. He just comes off as a big dork to me. Perhaps that's his charm?

Okay, what am I on about I hear you say?
Well, I'm sure you all caught the Kristen and Rob photoshoot with Harper's Bazaar Magazine floating around the internet - I really don't want to post something that's already widely spread around the internet unless I want to add my unwanted two-cents worth in - I thought Kristen looked AMAZING!
A teensy bit goth/femme fatale...but very much how I imagined Bella to be in Breaking Dawn when she gets super vamped up!
I just loved it!
Oh yeah and Rob looked hot too. But did you see Kristen?! hehe

UPDATE: yep the clip has now been removed. hopefully you got to see it while it was up :) if not...3 more weeks til New Moon comes out!!

although seeing as it's not official and pretty much an illegal bootleg there's a good chance it'll probably be taken off youtube soon anyway

Anyway...do not watch if you don't want it to spoil the movie! I kinda regret watching this now...you know curiosity killed the cat and all. Not saying that it's a bad scene! Just that I promised myself that I wouldn't watch any more spoilers before I saw the official movie. Bad self control!!

I imagined how Bella would say "you don't want me" slightly differently though. I always thought it would be on the brink of tears and like "you...don't...want...me...?" heh but that's just me and minor detailing

well, I thought I'd start updating my blog with some magazine articles and clippings I've accumulated over the past few or so weeks.

I'm absolutely disappointed that they didn't have a page for Jackson?! I find that most mags and what-nots always leave Jackson out - whhhhyy?! Jasper is a Cullen too you know! okay so he's a Hale but same diff!

Oh The Heat In Italy

Ashley Greene was spotted along with Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson in Italy after having lunch recently.

Just Jared Jr reports:

Twilight starlets Ashley Greene and Kristen Stewart lead the pack of guys behind them as they finish up lunch at Pizzeria Trattoria Marechiaro in Padova, Italy on Saturday afternoon (May 24).

Ashley, 22, hung out by the pool after lunch and got a bit sunburned while Kristen, 19, hung out with friends.

All I can say is...it looks a heck of a lot warmer filming in Italy than it did when they were in Vancouver (duh) - must make such a nice change for them...not having to coat up with layers and layers of clothes and all ;)

as I posted earlier, Kristen and Rob are on the cover of Girlfriend Australia magazine, while it seems the NZ edition features only Kristen. Same interview? I dunno -I doubt it though.

Kristen and Michael Angarano Go Out to Play

It really does seem like couples day today, doesn't it?
While I really should be doing my computer science website mark up lab, I'm on here blogging. *laughs sadly* ah well - that's next on my to do list!xx

They went for sushi, she playfully hopped on his back, then when she realised she was being papped, she quickly jumped off. The two continued on their way all awkward and sh-t. She looks great, right? Very pretty, beautiful skin. Happy.

Am told exclusively that they spent a romantic weekend together – Michael arranged for accommodation at a different hotel, with an open ocean view, and they were able to escape for a day from the crowds waiting outside all the time."

How cute. what's with all this cuteness?
But I'm really glad she's happy, she deserves to be after all this Twilight happiness we get off here =)

Sage (The Dills), Nikki Reed, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart at Metropole

Gosh, what it must be like to live in Vancouver right now!
Vancity Allie was at the Sage performance at Metropole last night where Nikki, Kristen and Taylor were chillin' to the sounds.
This is what Allie had to say:

"Sage from the Dills was awesome! She had a great voice,
both chill and uptempo songs, and her song “Dawn” was great… it should really
make it into New Moon! Unfortunately her guitar broke at the beginning of the
show so she had to borrow the opening performer’s guitar."

"I asked her
if I could take photos of my show and she said that was cool. Nikki Reed herself
came out and sat right in front for half the show to take photos of her friend,
support her music, take videos, and dance along to the music. What a great
friend! They were talking/shouting to each other during the show the entire
time, and Nikki was giving song suggestions."

"Near the end of the
night, Sage serenaded and sang to Taylor. It was really cute. Taylor looked very
casual and cool in a plaid shirt, distressed jeans, and rockin’ plaid
sneakers."

Sunday Morning Herald interviews Kristen

Kristen Stewart is interviewed by Australia's The Sunday Morning Herald in which she talks about her film Adventureland and her love of Australia:

"I love Australia and we have a lot of great family and friends down there. I can't wait to get back,"
"I actually don't mind Vegemite," she says, laughing.
"I know most Americans can't stand the smell, taste or look of it but I like it."

Rob's make up is an improvement, Edward in Twilight looked too make-up upped LOL. Can you say lipstick?

I guess they have to make Bella look really good so people can see the difference when she becomes catatonic later on.

Happy Birthday Kristen Stewart!

okay I'm a bit late on this, but late is infamously known as better than never right? =)

Kristen and Nikki back in Vancouver

Robert Pattinson was supposed to present at the Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday. Instead, Twilight was represented by Taylor Lautner. They are trying their best to make him a star. To give Pattinson a challenge, if this is possible. Twi-hard losers seem pretty keen on the Open Mouthed One. More on him later. For now, let’s help with Taylor’s cause. Photos attached of Taylor on the carpet for Nickelodeon and also arriving back in Vancouver on Sunday night to shoot again this week.

Meanwhile, Kristen Stewart was joined by her BF Michael Angarano and her BFF Nikki Reed on Sunday. Here they are coming from late lunch. Interestingly enough, a short while after their meal, Nikki was spotted heading over to Rob’s. She stayed at his place a few hours, then they went out and hooked up with some friends…

Is it just me, or is Michael Angarano looking a bit like Rob? I mean the sunnies look oddly familiar...That's all I'm going to say on this topic.

Kristen on MTV Canada...

I know this is a tad bit of old news, but I've been meaning to comment on it...
I get that there are a lot of people (increasingly, I think) that hate Kristen Stewart, or think that she's an ungrateful cow lady. What I think is (like who cares?) that people are too quick to judge others whom they don't even personally know. I agree, Kristen has more than her fair share of hairy moments and cringeworthy comments that make you say "oh hell no, she didn't just say that!", but overall I think there's nothing wrong with the way she is. The way I see the media is if you give them an inch, just an ounce of an excuse, they will run it and stretch it as far as possible. I think that Kristen is just awkward and behaves a little differently than we want her to behave, but that doesn't mean that she's ungrateful or is a b*itch. Lets just say I know people who are a lot worse. Sure I wish she'd be a little more friendly in interviews, but in a way I prefer the blunt truth over fake enthusiasm anyway.

Bottom line, if you don't have it, don't fake it.

MTV Canada was too harsh, and their comments were uncalled for and really unprofessional. The pot calling the kettle black?
